A Long Expected Blog Post

When I was thirteen I asked my parents if I could start a blog. They told me I could in a few years, maybe when I was sixteen. Sixteen went by without seriously thinking about one and now, four years later from when I asked if I could start a blog, I am finally sitting down to write my first post.

First off I want to say that I am very excited to be starting one!

I feel like Bilbo. "I'm going on an adventure!"

Second off blog posts are really hard to write and I've been trying to write this one since June. And by trying to write I mean sitting down in front of the computer and staring at a blinking cursor for a half-hour. Basically I'm terrified to write a first post. Compared to designing the blog, that was a walk in the park, this is so much harder.

So I guess I'll stick to the basics and hope I don't regret anything I say.

*sweats nervously*

What you can expect: much rambling and awkwardness, a LOT of nerdiness becuase not only do I love reading and Lord of the Rings I also love science and math. So there will be jokes like: what do you call an acid with an attitude? an a-mean-oh-acid.

I may or may not talk about lord of the rings in every post and try to be funny; the latter of which will probably not work.

On the more official side of things you can expect book reviews, writing advice, and a ton of other things that I have yet to think up.
